High-Performance Agricultural Infrastructure in Latin America
Dominican Republic, Honduras, Peru, and Panama
At Grupo IEP, we have developed an ambitious international project focused on agricultural and logistical infrastructure across several Latin American countries, tailored to different climate conditions, crops, and production needs. The scope of this project ranged from the construction of lightweight multitunnel greenhouses to the execution of specialized shade houses and industrial storage facilities, all delivered through our turnkey project model.
In the Dominican Republic, we designed and installed lightweight multitunnel greenhouses for the intensive cultivation of vegetables. These structures integrate natural ventilation systems and high light-transmission plastic covers, ensuring structural resistance and climate efficiency in areas with high humidity.
In Honduras and Peru, we carried out the construction of shade houses intended for the cultivation of vegetables and peppers, respectively. These structures, equipped with professional shading mesh and a modular design, provide a controlled environment that protects crops from excessive solar radiation and seasonal rainfall, thereby improving productivity and reducing phytosanitary risks.
Finally, in Panama, we executed the construction of industrial warehouses for use as agricultural storage facilities. These were designed with galvanized steel structures, enclosures adapted to high temperatures, and a functional layout aimed at streamlining post-harvest logistics operations.
This set of initiatives reinforces Grupo IEP’s ability to deliver comprehensive, customized agricultural solutions in international settings, with structures tailored to each type of crop and built to European quality standards.
