Macro-Tunnel Greenhouses
Grupo IEP’s macro-tunnel greenhouses are efficient, modular structures with a straightforward design, ideal for cost-effective coverage of large land areas. Featuring arches mounted on Y-shaped support posts under 1.5 meters tall, they easily adapt to uneven terrain and are particularly popular for berry crops like strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. These structures provide climate protection, easy installation, and compatibility with irrigation, ventilation, and trellising systems, ensuring optimized and sustainable agricultural production.

General Characteristics
Grupo IEP’s macro-tunnel greenhouses stand out for their structural simplicity and high functionality, designed to protect crops across large areas with minimal investment. Constructed with hot-dip galvanized or Sendzimir Z-275 steel, the arches are supported on Y-shaped posts up to 1.5 meters tall, delivering:
Topographic adaptability: The modular design conforms to uneven terrain without complex foundations, cutting installation costs.
Efficient coverage: Agricultural plastic or shade net covers provide protection from rain, wind, and excessive solar radiation – ideal for berries.
Natural ventilation: The open structure ensures optimal airflow, regulating temperature and humidity for sensitive crops.
Durability: Galvanized materials resist corrosion, ensuring extended service life even in humid climates.
Their versatility makes them perfect for low-profile crops like strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries, enabling straightforward management and high-quality harvests.

Macro-Tunnel Greenhouse Solutions
Grupo IEP’s macro-tunnel greenhouses provide comprehensive solutions for growers seeking to maximize productivity in berry crops and other low-profile cultivation, combining climate protection with tailored technologies.
Modular and Adaptable Structure
The macro-tunnel structure features round steel tubes (60×1.5 mm or 60×2 mm) mounted on galvanized steel Y-posts, enabling rapid and cost-effective coverage of large areas. Its design simplifies installation on sloped terrain using direct ground anchors without heavy foundations. Custom configurations are available, with adjustable length and width to match plot dimensions.
The system supports lightweight agricultural plastic covers (100-200 microns) or shade nets, providing protection against rain, hail, and excessive sunlight while ensuring optimal light diffusion for photosynthesis.
